  • Full payment is to be taken on booking, and in any case at least seven days prior to the event, or a 25% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of the FULL BALANCE will be taken to make the booking and secure the date that you require. If payment is not made in full, 7 days before the event any payment will be returned, minus 25% non-refundable deposit of the FULL BALANCE and your booking cancelled.

  • We reserve the right to leave the event at any time, without refund if the ponies become distressed or agitated, the ponies are maltreated in any way, instructions from our staff are not adhered to by the children or the adults or we feel it would be unsafe for us to continue the service.

  • We will not attend any venue nor accept any booking until we have seen the venue and performed a risk assessment. We can view photographs of potential venues to offer a guideline answer and viewings on Google Earth and Google Street mapping are also useful tools.

  • If circumstances beyond our control arise, we reserve the right to modify or terminate the Service, without notice. In the event of such termination, the payment will be refunded, minus 25% non-refundable deposit.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

  • On booking you will receive a health & safety checklist - if an accident occurs due to a failure to adhere to the checklist, e.g. a pony accidentally treads on a child who is not wearing a sturdy boot or shoe, London & Cambridge Pony Parties Ltd will not be liable. If a child refuses to wear a riding hat, you acknowledge that the child will not be insured, even if just placed on the pony and held for a photograph.

  • Verbal or written abuse of any kind (including threats of abuse or retribution) to any staff member or animal of London & Cambridge Pony Parties will result in the immediate termination of package or arrangement.

  • This is an outdoor service, where the weather can effect your event. In the event of heavy rain or high winds, we would not be able to attend for safety reasons. A weather check will be made by us the day before the event. If possible, we can try to alter the time of day that we arrive, pending availability. For example, if it looks drier in the morning, we could come earlier, or vice versa if the weather looked slightly better in the afternoon, but this entirely depends on availability, if we would be able to do so. Where possible, you would be entitled to postpone the party to another day, but this is still subject to availability. If the day is a complete wash out, and no other suitable time or day can be agreed, then a refund will be reimbursed, minus the non-refundable 25% deposit. This is a risk to consider before booking an outdoor activity.

  • In booking you accept that pony riding is a HIGH RISK SPORT and risk of injury or serious injury is possible. Where every risk and hazard is minimised, animals are unpredictable if scared or hurt and serious harm can occur. In booking one of our events you accept this risk and obey all safety instructions.

  • In the events of circumstances beyond our control, natural disaster, disease pandemic, government lockdown or any other direct suspension of normal operations by our license issuers - South Cambridgeshire District Council - we reserve the right to defer you booking to a later date without full refund, or by mutual agreement - refunding the amount minus 25% of the booking amount. This is necessary for the constant care costs and welfare of live animals.
